I got rid of the html links on the opening page... hopefully that will keep bots off our forums as they can't read the links. if you can't see the menu, then just simply type the url of the forums. anyways, hope everyone is doing well. cya!
News: Sunday, October 1st, 2006 Well, as usual, the event didn't happen.. it had to be rescheduled due to some unforseen circumstances. it will however happen this month. another bit of great news...Shadowspawn has returned! my friend, you have been sorely missed.. Other than that, not too much is happening. i was going to try and have another game or three posted to the site, but that didn't happen in september either. here's to hoping that october goes better than september.. l8r News: Friday, September 15th, 2006 Well, another week has come and gone... the event is right around the corner and the invites have begun to mailed/Emailed/MSG'd out. also, there is YET ANOTHER game on the site now, and though it is still extremely "Beta" ie: really hard, and i'm in the process of dumbing it down to be a bit easier, but you can feel free to hop on and tool around. but i warn you, if you complain about it being too hard after i specifically said that i was in the process of making it easier, i will drag out the wiffle-bat of destruction and whack you on your stupid head.. the link is here and in the margin as always..Later News: Sunday, September 10th, 2006 Welp, i'm taking a break from watching the manning bowl, where eli is currently winning i think, and decided to make yet ANOTHER game public. it's called black nova traders, and it's really cool if you like space oriented exploration/Combat/Trading games. it's kind of like promisance with a space flair. you conquer planets, establish trade routes, make money, oh yeah.. and you get to blow other player's ships into oblivion! i look forward to blasting the crap outta you suckas.. I'm out.. News: Saturday, September 9th, 2006 I finally got the cron job to do its thing correctly for the new Promisance. Also, i added a web version of risk (One of my favorite board games as a youth) Each game can hold up to 8 players, and players can start their own games.. it's pretty cool.. other than that, there's not much going on today.. i have installed and removed at least 25 games today, and risk was the only one that was both compatible with my server setup and complete enough to make workable.. TTFN, Ta-Ta for now! News: September 8th 2nd Edition Wow..updating twice in the same day.. am i going nuts or what? news: September 8th i had to take promisance down for the time being. i found and purposely attacked a security flaw in its coding, and if i can, so can other geeks that have too much time on their hands. so until i get it fixed, it will be going bye bye. My version of Dragon-knight is complete, and should be ready for play someitme within the week. That's all for now...I'm out Edit: It seems that the Faf version of promisance is acting in the same manner as the original promisance, and it has been removed as well until further notice. News: August 29th, 2006 (Wow has it been a month already?) Promisance has been reset, or at least it was last weekend
sometime. Time is short and most of it blurs together now it seems.Ashlan
informed me that he moved the Raven's Eye from Sorcerynet to Shadow-world
(something about a fetish and SNUGZ) LOL...just kidding, but he did move
it. My smaug port has taken shape and all are invited to download a mud
client and give it a go. I'll post the information in the forums under
a new category called MuD, duh..Oh yeah one last bit of info before I
jet out the door to contimue my hectic, yet extremely mundane existance,
watch your mailboxes for a special invite-only D&D party that's going
to happen sometime in September. There will be prizes, and loads of fun..but
again it is INVITE-ONLY...if you don't receive an invitation, don't cry,
there will be other parties, you just aren't invited to this particular
one..oh, and don't pm me or otherwise ask any details about the event,
they will be ignored.. I'm out..
